Jackson
Hole Museum
Jackson, for the most part, covers most
areas of interest for visitors. Museums are no exception. For Wyoming
history buffs, a good place to start would be the Jackson Hole Museum.
It is located at 105 N. Glenwood. Here you can learn what life was
like during the last century for the mix of ranchers, Native Americans,
and trappers. It boasts a huge bear trap in its collection. Admission
is $6.00 for families, $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for senior citizens,
and only $1.00 for students. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monday through Saturday and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
To get added exercise connected with this museum, it sponsors walking
tours around town that last for an hour. This is an excellent place
to start, if you're a first-time visitor.
